To qualify for this scholarship applicants must meet the following four criteria:
1. You’re a member of an under-represented group (including but not limited to underrepresented racial or ethnic populations, women, low income, individuals with disabilities, etc.)
2. You're enrolling in a bachelor’s degree program for science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) in Fall 2025
3. You reside in the Greater Chicagoland area
4. You will be attending a College within the United States
The Diversify the Future Board will select applicants from essays submitted to move forward to Interview with the Board and make a final selection from there. Criteria will be limited to geographic area and must show proof of enrollment in post-secondary school. Selection will be conducted in Summer for distribution in the Fall.
The deadline for applications is April 30, 2026.
