Diversify the Future Scholarship now open

We are delighted to launch applications for the Diversify the Future Scholarship fund!

The scholarship program will grant up to $10,000 annually for students looking to enroll in a bachelor's degree program for science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) in Fall 2024.

Applications are open to students from under-represented backgrounds in STEM in the Chicagoland area. Eligible students will be applying to STEM degree programs at a U.S. college or university.

Diversify the Future Foundation is a non-profit initiative with a mission to 'Diversify the Future' of STEM. We aim to remove the barriers faced by underrepresented students and support young people by helping them excel in a future career in the STEM space.

The Foundation is funded by Engtal, a leading provider in staffing solutions for the STEM industries. For every under-represented candidate placed by Engtal, the company donates $1000 to the scholarship fund.

Chris Atiyah, CEO of Engtal and President of Diversify the Future commented:

"We are thrilled to launch this scholarship program through Diversify the Future Foundation. At Engtal, we understand diversity's critical role in driving innovation and success in STEM industries.

"By investing in the education and development of talented students from underrepresented backgrounds, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive future for the STEM community. We encourage eligible students to apply for the scholarship and take advantage of this unique opportunity to advance their education and contribute to the diversification of STEM fields."

Applications are open until March 1, 2024. For more information about the scholarship and to apply visit the Scholarship Fund page.
